OVERVIEW
While on this 20 days uganda wildlife and nature experience you will do a meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport where your Uganda Adventure Safari starts by our representative who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities. You will then be transferred to your hotel where you will be briefed about your adventure safari.
Day 1: Arrival and Pickup
Depending on the time of arrival you are advised to have money changed on this day and time allowing you may go for city tour with the help of our driver/guide. You will relax at the Lodge.

Day 2: Kampala- Jinja
After breakfast, transfer to Jinja. First, visit the virgin and dramatic Itanda Falls, where you can watch the kayaking boys tackle the big rapids. Enjoy a half-day rafting experience while observing the diverse birdlife.
Next, drive to the Source of the Nile. Here, you will take a boat ride around the point where the Nile dramatically separates from Lake Victoria. The stream then begins its journey north, forming the Victoria Nile. This waterway eventually joins the Albert Nile in Murchison Falls National Park, flows through Sudan, meets the Blue and White Nile, and continues through Egypt to the Mediterranean Sea.

Day 3: Transfer to Mbale and then to Sipi falls
After breakfast, transfer to Mbale town for a brief stop and enjoy lunch. From Mbale, continue driving directly to Sipi. Upon arrival, we’ll embark on an evening nature walk and hike. During the hike, we’ll visit the three falls that make up Sipi. The trail network leading to the falls is steep and slippery, with mud on rainy days. You will also encounter ladders and pass through farms as part of this adventurous journey.

Day 4: Abseiling- Transfer to Kitgum
Have breakfast and enjoy morning Abseiling at the Falls – It is this adventurous already – Later you will enjoy great views of the surrounding vegetation-clad valleys and mountains and the Karamoja plains, view several birds, and Visit the coffee farms for experience that characterise of this region.On a successful visit of all the magnificent sites we shall return for lunch and transfer to Kitigum town reaching late for dinner.

Day 5: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Have Early Morning breakfast and Transfer to Kidepo valley National Park, reaching late afternoon to check in for dinner at the Lodge. Take a game drive in the morning to see the lions, cheetah always surrounded by Zebra, Waterbuck, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Warthogs, Patas monkeys and big herds of Buffalo.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Community Visit
Take a game drive in the morning to see the lions, cheetah, always surrounded by Zebra, Waterbuck, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Warthogs, Patas monkeys and big herds of Buffalo.
Have Early Lunch prepared at The Bandas and Proceed for an afternoon Half day to the communities, Visit the Karamojong manyatta. Get an insight of their daily lives, the way their homes are constructed and much more. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After your early morning breakfast drive northwest to Murchison Falls National Park driving via Gulu. Later continue to Murchison Falls National Park arriving at your lodge late afternoon.
nArise very early in the morning for your game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile in your open-roof vehicle which will give you an excellent opportunity to view and photograph the diverse wildlife. Your guide will help you spot elephant, lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, bohor reed buck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard.

Day 8: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat trip on the Victoria Nile
Arise early for your game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile. In your open-roof vehicle, you’ll have an excellent chance to view and photograph diverse wildlife. Your guide will help spot elephants, lions, Cape buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, hartebeests, waterbucks, oribis, bushbucks, bohor reedbucks, hyenas, and, if lucky, a leopard.
After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise upstream along the calm Victoria Nile. You’ll reach the base of the falls, stopping just meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron.’ Marvel at the schools of hippos and crocodiles. Along the 17 km stretch, you may spot elephants, waterbucks, and Uganda kobs. The area is also home to many bird species, including the goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican, bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant, and the rare shoebill stork.

Day 9: Nature Walks and Top of the falls
Go for morning optional Nature walk at an extra fee of $30 per person and encounter with Unique and rare nocturnals of the Park and in the afternoon visit the Top of the Falls and Trail right up to the water’s edge at an extra fee of $15 per person. Alternatively, you may choose to relax at the lodge – do swimming, reading some books or stay at the lounge as you wait your meals!

Day10: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After your morning breakfast, begin your journey to Kibale Forest National Park. Drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside passing through traditional homesteads, farms and Tea Estates. You will have a stopover for lunch en-route. You will arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon. Check in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 11: Chimpanzee Tracking
After breakfast at your lodge, transfer to the starting point of your Chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale Forest National Park which is reputed to have the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. The most famous of its 13 species is the Chimpanzee, man’s closest relative. Kibale’s 1450 Chimpanzee represent Uganda’s largest population of this endangered primate. Kibale is also a home to the rare I’Hoest’s monkey. Other primates include the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Olive baboon to mention but a few. So you will enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys and many others. Although chimp sightings are not guaranteed, visitors stand a good chance of hearing and seeing our distant cousins as they gloom and bond with one another.

Day 12: Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast at your lodge before you proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range. Your expert driver guide will take you through the game park where you might spot some animals. Upon arriving at your lodge.
You will enjoy a hot lunch and later in the afternoon take a unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos and this launch/cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous, with well over 550 resident species.

Day 13: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel
Queen Elizabeth National Park’s diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Have an early morning game drive where you have an opportunity to view the massive Rwenzori as backdrop, which provides excellent opportunities to spot lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephant, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, topi and bushbuck. The game drives and the boat trip (taken prior) are memorable methods of discovering a vast array of Ugandan wildlife. Be sure to have your camera ready for these amazing sightings!

Day 14: Morning Game drive and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After your breakfast, Transfer to take a morning game drive in Ishasha plains for your final visit with the lions and other wildlife continue to Bwindi. The drive takes you through the Switzerland of Africa area known as the Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the evening. Check into the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 15: Gorilla Trekking
After an early breakfast, depart for a briefing about your gorilla trekking adventure. Following the briefing, experienced gorilla trackers will lead you on the slopes of the volcanoes. You will begin at the site where the gorillas were seen the day before. From there, the tracking begins.
Though the hike may be physically demanding, the excitement and anticipation are well worth it. The beauty of the gorilla forest and its inhabitants is captivating. Encountering these gentle apes is one of Africa’s major highlights. It is a humbling experience to stand just meters away from man’s distant cousins as they eat, rest, play, and bond with their young ones.

Day 16: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After the breakfast drive to Lake Bunyonyi through the lush green vegetation that characterize much of western Uganda and also has breathtaking scenery. Spend the night overlooking Uganda deepest lake, where you may try your hand at paddling at dugout canoe, or eating fresh water crayfish.

Day 17: Depart for Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast at 08:00, travel to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest in Uganda. Despite its size, the park offers much to explore. It features a series of swamp-fringed lakes, rich in birdlife. The green acacia woodland is home to wildlife such as zebra, warthogs, eland, and impala. The lake itself hosts hippos and crocodiles. Recently, Uganda Wildlife Authority introduced 15 giraffes from Murchison Falls to the park.
You will arrive at the hotel in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Mburo at 16:00, getting close to the crocodiles and hippos. On your way back to the hotel, you can take an evening game drive before returning to your lodge.

Day 18: Farm Tour and Afternoon Safari walk
After breakfast, transfer to the farm to watch or participate in milking the Ankole long-horned cattle. Then, return to the hotel for a full breakfast. Later, enjoy your lunch before heading to the park for a safari walk with an armed ranger. The Kopjes are particularly interesting, with camouflage kilspringers and topis. Due to cattle herding in the area, it’s amusing to see zebras grazing alongside the long-horned Ankole cattle in harmony. It’s truly exciting to approach wildlife at such a close range.

Day 19: Transfer to Kampala enroute the Equator and Have a city tour
After breakfast, transfer back to Kampala. Stop at the Equator to stand in both hemispheres and take some photos. Then, visit the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers to watch ceremonial drums being crafted using traditional methods. Arrive in Kampala by the afternoon. Enjoy lunch at a selected restaurant. In the afternoon, you can take an optional city tour. Hike the famous Gaddafi Mosque Tower for $8 per person and enjoy views of the rolling hills, villas, and slums. Later, visit Owino Market to experience the vibrant local market atmosphere.
