A hot air balloon adventure, game drives, bird watching excursions, boat cruises, a gorilla trekking excursion, guided hikes and nature walks, are some of the adventures you will enjoy. Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, are some of the destinations you will visit. You will also explore Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the Katwe crater lakes, and the source of the Nile.

Your 13 Days Uganda Honeymoon safari will include;
After meeting your guide and having a briefing on how your safari will be, your Uganda honeymoon adventure will begin. You will embark on a drive to Murchison Falls National Park, the largest park found in the north-western region. You will visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary en-route. The sanctuary is the only place in Uganda where rhinos are bred. After tracking and encountering the rhinos for 1-2 hours, you will continue with your drive and arrive at the park in the evening.
The day will begin with a game drive in any of the park’s designated game viewing areas. The delta region, Buligi peninsula and the southern sector are the main tracks. In the afternoon you will go for a cruise, downstream on the Nile – Lake Albert delta. You will crown the day with a cultural encounter comprising of music and dance performances from the Mubako group and Boomu Women’s group.
Typical of a honeymoon safari, you will have a hot air balloon adventure and a bush breakfast in the early morning. You will embark on a drive to the top of the falls mid-morning. In the early evening, you will go on a birding excursion in any of the park’s major birding spots.
Your next honeymoon destination will be Queen Elizabeth National Park. When you arrive at the park, you will drive north of Mweya peninsula to embark on the famous crater drive. You will explore the crater lakes in the region and also enjoy a splendid view across the great Western Rift Valley and its escarpments, the Rwenzori mountains, Kazinga channel and lakes Edward and George.
The day’s adventure will include a game drive through any of the park’s demarcated game viewing tracks; Kasenyi, the north Kazinga plains and Ishasha region. You will sight numerous wildlife and have a glimpse of the tree-climbing lions stretched out amidst massive tree branches in Ishasha. You will go for an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel. While on it, you will spot pods of hippos, crocodiles and buffaloes basking in the sun along the water banks.
A birding excursion in any of the park’s major spots will be the highlight of the morning. The park has over 600 bird species found in; Maramagambo forest, Kazinga channel, Mweya peninsula, Kasenyi plains, Lake Kikorongo, Ishasha sector, Katunguru bridge area and Katwe area. The park has over 54 raptors and many migratory species. You will relax at your lodge in the afternoon, preparing to embark on a nocturnal game drive when dusk sets in.
Your next adventure destination will be Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. When you arrive at the park, you will check in at a lodge of your choice, take out some time to relax and unwind, before embarking on a guided nature walk in the forest. You can also go cycling in Buhoma region or embark on a community walk.
The day will begin with a gorilla trekking excursion in one of the park’s major regions. After a briefing from park authorities, you will hit one of the trailheads and begin your quest for a habituated gorilla family. After spending an hour observing the family and its members, you will have a lunch break and then embark on a Batwa cultural experience. You will encounter the Batwa – a tribe of pygmy forest dwellers, they will demonstrate their way of life through dramatized performances.
Your honeymoon excursions will continue with a drive to Lake Mburo National Park. When you arrive at the park, you will embark on a game drive through any of the demarcated game track networks. You will sight many wildlife species including; zebras, elands, waterbucks, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas and topis.
The day will begin with a boat cruise on Lake Mburo. You will sight buffaloes, pods of hippos, and crocodiles basking at the water banks. Later, you will go for a bird watching excursion in any of the park’s famous birding spots; the swampy valleys of Warukiri and Miriti, the roadsides between Rwonyo camp and the jetty, the viewing platforms at the salt licks, and Rubanga forest.
You will embark on a drive to Jinja town in Eastern Uganda. You will pass through Mabira forest, and encounter many wildlife and bird species. You will embark on a Jinja town tour in the early evening.
A Uganda honeymoon safari is incomplete without visiting the source of the Nile. You will drive out to Lake Victoria, at the Rippon Falls where River Nile begins. While at the Nile, you will have an inexhaustible list of adventures to engage in; boat cruising, canoeing, white water rafting, bungee jumping, quad biking, cycling, nature walks and community visits.
At the climax of your honeymoon safari, you will embark on a return drive to Kampala. Your final excursion will be a Kampala city tour. At the end of the adventure, your guide will drive you to the airport if you have a flight to catch.
