Uganda is the ideal adventure destination for a sating safari experience. The country has many attractions and safari destinations to guarantee a memorable safari holiday. Game drives, bird watching excursions, boat cruises, gorilla and chimpanzee trekking excursions, guided hikes and nature walks, are some of the adventures you will enjoy. Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, Kibale National Park, and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, are some of the destinations you will visit. You will also explore Entebbe zoo, Mabamba bay, Lake Bunyonyi, Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, and the Katwe crater lakes.

Your 10 days Uganda Adventure safari will include;
This 10 days Uganda safari adventure begins with a guide picking you from Entebbe airport or your residence in Kampala. You will visit UWEC – Uganda Wildlife Education Center, commonly referred to as Entebbe zoo for a prime encounter with Uganda’s wildlife. The next adventure will be a birding excursion in Mabamba bay – a home to over 260 bird species.
In the early morning, you will embark on a drive to Lake Mburo National Park. You will enjoy a scenic drive through a serene countryside, lush greenery, steep landscapes, and rugged hills. Once you arrive at the park, you will unwind and then embark on a guided birding excursion in any of the main birding spots – the swampy valleys of Warukiri and Miriti, the roadsides between Rwonyo camp and the jetty, the viewing platforms at the salt licks, and Rubanga forest.
After having breakfast, you will hit one of the park’s networks of game tracks on a game viewing drive. While driving through, you will sight many wildlife species including; zebras, elands, waterbucks, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas and topis. After lunch, you will embark on a 2-hour boat cruise on Lake Mburo. You will spot crocodiles and hippos at the banks, and a variety of water birds. Besides sailing, you can end your day with spot fishing on the lake.
You will embark on a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the early morning. Once you arrive at the park, you will take out some time to relax and unwind before embarking on a guided nature walk. You can also go cycling in Buhoma region.
The day will begin with a gorilla trekking excursion in one of the park’s major regions. After a briefing from park authorities, you will go out to one of the trailheads and begin your quest for a habituated gorilla family. After spending an hour observing the family and its members, you will have a lunch break and then embark on a Batwa cultural experience. You will encounter the Batwa – a tribe of pygmy forest dwellers.
You will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi in the early morning. When you arrive at the lake, you will go for a boat cruise and visit some of the islands spread across the waters – the lake has 29 islands. Besides setting out on a community visit to encounter the Pygmy Batwa, you can go swimming, biking or canoeing.
Queen Elizabeth National Park will be your next adventure destination. When you arrive, you will go for a guided nature walk in any of the park’s wildlife hubs; Mweya peninsula, the shady Maramagambo forest or along the banks of Ishasha river. While in Maramagambo forest, you will have a chance to explore the famous Bat cave.
Your day will start with a game drive in any of the park’s main tracks; Kasenyi, the north Kazinga plains and the fascinating Ishasha sector. Guaranteed wildlife sightings include; buffaloes, antelopes, elephants, warthogs, baboons, and the tree-climbing lions found in Ishasha. In the afternoon, you will go for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel. While at it, you will sight pods of hippos and crocodiles basking at the water banks.
You will embark on a transfer to Kibale National Park in the early morning. You will arrive at the park just in time to embark on a chimpanzee trekking excursion. The trek lasts between 2-6 hours before you can encounter a habituated chimp family. Once you encounter one, you will spend an hour observing its members.
You will go for a guided nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. The wetland is a habitat to over 200 bird species and more than 8 primate species. After the excursion, you will embark on your journey back to Kampala. This will mark the end of your safari.
