Day 1 Kigali – Akagera National Park

After breakfast, you will ride in a safari vehicle and travel to the eastern side of Rwanda to enter the Akagera Wildlife National Park. This park has a corridor that connects to Tanzania and the park receives some of the wildlife that come for the savannah. Before you reach the park you will have lunch, then enjoy a game drive to spot wildlife species like elephant, buffalo, water and bushbuck, and warthog among others. Later in the evening you will check-in at Akagera Game Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2 Akagera National Park

After breakfast you will embark on a game drive to spot wildlife species including lion, elephant, water and bushbuck, warthog, oribi, zebra and more. You will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will go on a boat cruise along Lake Ihema. On this cruise you can expect to spot a variety of wildlife and birds. In the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3 Akagera National Park – Kigali

After breakfast, you will check-out and embark a safari vehicle for your journey back to Kigali. As you leave the park, you will enjoy your final game drive with a packed lunch to enjoy along the way. Upon arrival in Kigali, you will be dropped off at the airport for your return flight. This is where your safari will end.
